- Ben … I was just working on putting together photos for the newsletter and earlier today I also did some graphic design work for a Microsoft project called SEAlab (Social & Environmental Accountability), hopefully I can use this for my portfolio that I pledged to send to some environmental groups at yesterday’s climate action meeting

Halloween
We'd like to do it on October 31st, and with an eye to being able to invite Sequoia and Ren's friends to it in the future
- The Sanders will do a little trick-or-treating this year, maybe an hour in the middle of the event
- Stuff to hand out to other trick-or-treaters:
- Space-related candy, e.g. Mars bars

- Little Samhain-related things like the Earth marbles or mini electric bonfires (electric candle plus twigs and red/orange tissue paper)?

- Martian Rails (probably too long, but we could just play until we get bored)
- Dig Mars (doesn't sound all that interesting)
- Starfarers of Catan
- Food
- Something involving potatoes?
- Brandon will talk with Shelley about it

- Brandon is looking into some decals, particularly an airlock decal that could go on a door or two … pretty expensive but could be used year after year
- Ben can look into stuff to display on a laptop screen as well as in the picture window

Schedule
- 2 PM: Play board games and decorate
- 5:15 PM: Dinner
- 6 PM: Trick-or-treating
- 7-8 PM: Shelley gets back from the hospital, put the boys to bed
- 8 PM: Watch Total Recall or SpaceX launches or something? (possibly too loud for the boys)
Evaluation
- Brandon … I'm totally hitting the wall here … think I need to take more ibuprofen … looking forward to our Viventibus Mundos party
- Ben … I’m worried that we won’t get the stuff we want to do finished in time, but I hope it works out well because it sounds really fun
