SolSeed > SolSeedProjects > Media
To raise awareness of the SolSeedMovement and get people interested in joining or collaborating with us, we are working on various forms of media describing who we are and what we're about.
- This website
- We plan to have a static welcome page
- We may move the wiki to a site with a more user-friendly editing system
- SolSeed books
- Happy in the Sun (children's book)
- The Book of Life (a SolSeed "bible," including prose, poems, songs, etc, useful for SolSeed Services)
- Helping Life Thrive, On Earth And Beyond (book within the Book of Life that will also be published separately)
- SolSeed videos
- Pick a Future (6-minute music video, unpublishable due to music copyright)
- Reach for the Stars (planned music video based on The Seed)
- Gaia's Heartbeat (music video with time-lapse videos of Gaia to help viewers connect emotionally with the idea of Earth as a living organism)
- Boxy and Tinman on Why SolSeed is a Religion
- 30-second spot
- Longer video (currently untitled, but planned to be about 15 minutes long)
- Something You Learn (music video based on a song by Lori Henriques)
- Rise Anew (music video based on the concept of recovering from ecological catastrophe)
- Newsletters to update our members and friends on our projects and plans.
- Facebook group
- Music
- SolSeedSong
There are also some other folks producing media we'd like to promote:
- There's a band in Eugene, Oregon (formerly Medford) that independently came up with the name Sol Seed. Their music is great, and they have some surprisingly evocative lyrics like "...to create a destiny psycho-synergistically with Gaia and the galaxy..."
- Shawn Kilburn of Seattle is working on a wonderfully whimsical space adventure story.
