- There's a band in Eugene, Oregon (formerly Medford) that independently came up with the name [Sol Seed](https://www.youtube.com/user/SolSeedMusic). Their music is great, and they have some surprisingly evocative lyrics like "...to create a destiny psycho-synergistically with Gaia and the galaxy..."
- [Shawn Kilburn](/Shawn's_space_story) of Seattle is working on a wonderfully whimsical space adventure story.
