You is the second person pronoun. But You is also the main character of most Gaia prayers. The reason we use the second person as the main character is that by placing the reader in the story, we can give the reader the best chance of experiencing the story more deeply. Gaia calls You, Little One and Sophia calls You, Just One which is a double-entendre meaning either 'Only One' as in 'Not More Than One' (Sophia manifests as multiple little girls representing the divided mind) and also as 'One Who Exemplifies Justice' which works because as You learns Sophia's wisdom she hopes that You will also learn to be more just.
