Global Work Party) ... weeding organic garden and turning compost ... contest for visions of Seattle in 2100 ... finally this morning went to talk at Microsoft by an eco-psychologist who talked about all different flavors of under- and over-reactions to global crises
- Brandon ... read Pushing Ice, which Ben had passed along to him ... getting excited about whatever comes next ... wants to start a space business, just go for it, would be happy even if it fails (gloriously)
- Shelley ... walking Sequoia, had a really great day today ... feeling better about Rainier ... practically perfect in every way today :-) ... made a good choice (didn't drive clear to Beaverton to buy diapers)
- Sequoia ... yawn (sleepy time) ... two good poops today ... clingy, wondering whether Child Roots will work out today ... cloth diapers today, no leaks or poop on the cover

Seeds of Gaia: Going to space for the sake of Life
Join us to discuss the flowering of Gaia into places beyond Earth. In this future, spaceships are little worlds unto themselves, filled with living ecosystems that sustain spacefarers' souls even as they maintain the air, water, and food supply. The mission of these "seed ships" has more to do with bringing life to other worlds than taking resources out of them to feed human industry. What are the historical roots of this idea? Which groups most closely hold this vision today? What are they up to? How can you get involved?
