Gaia's People report
The Gaia's People Ottawa group just reached 100 members, and many of them are from atheist groups like the Center for Inquiry, the Humanist Association, and Ottawa Skeptics

Weekend Service rotation: Eric, Ben, Shelley, Brandon
- April 2 Service: 8 AM PST / 11 EST … Shelley
- April 3 Business Call: 5:30 PM PST / 20:30 EST (Ben out due to Contact Conference)
Next steps with Earthseed
- Invite Tony for a service call
- Invite John for a service call
- Suggest helping set up an Earthseed service call that they would organize
- We should not stop the Service calls until EarthSeed can match them.
Octavia Butler event
We know we want to do both a panel and a ritual.
- We could connect with John and Tony on calls to do dry runs of these
Another thing to consider is outreach and interacting with and getting to know the people who are there.
- Ben should make a new version of the trifold
- Brandon will print more copies of the current We Believe book to bring
- We're planning a new one but it likely won't be ready by early June (especially since they might be influenced by our Earthseed-related activities)
Beltane and Summer Solstice

- Eric will plant a tree
- West coast crew could do a Saturday work party at the Arboretum on April 30 or May 7 (Shelley's birthday)
- We could also try to find a tree-planting event in Portland with Friends of Trees, or a bioswale making event or something
Moment of Solstice: Monday June 20, 3:34 PM PDT / 18:34 EDT
- We're thinking next year for a big get-together at Eric's place
- Ben could host something near Seattle
- Just a hike?
- Maybe a weekend camping open space?
- Could we include Eric somehow or would signal strength be too minimal?
- Plant trees?
- Outdoor class, e.g. Basket weaving English Ivy?
- YayLifeTri? (Ben would need a lot of help organizing it)
- There is a "Stonehenge" radio tower in Portland

- Michelle and Patrick are already signed up for the Kilt Run that weekend (In theory they could bike 40 km to BuckleBerry Briar and Brook afterward, but in practice they wouldn't have the energy)
- West Coast people could connect to Eric while he's doing something in Gatineau Park
