Equinox
- Eric will move his event start time back to 6 PM EDT so he can connect with us on Skype at 7 (which is 4 PM PDT, the start time of the Portland event)
- Storytelling will start at 4PM/7PM with snacking interspersed (especially in Portland)?
- But this only works if we move Eric's event to Saturday or move the Portland event to Sunday!

Waverly Commons
- In inner SE Portland but farther south & east than the current Sanders house
- Are they knocking down existing buildings to build these "brand new custom homes"?
- Google Maps imagery suggests that the existing Trillium Family Services building was knocked down
- The community shares our environmental values with green building, gardening, and sharing tools, and of course kid-friendliness
- Brandon imagines building a house with a 2-story basement that takes up almost the whole footprint of the lot
- Bottom story would be a SolSeed sanctuary that is large, very high-ceilinged, beautiful and attractive as a place to visit, with alcoves helping to illustrate deep time
- Ben suggests a spiral staircase in the middle
- Upper basement would be a workshop (wood and metalworking equipment, 3D printers and other electronics, etc)
- Ground floor (normal house size) would have a fellowship hall as a hub for the Waverly Commons community
- Top floor(s) would be where the Sanders live
- Likely cost: around $800,000
- The community already has 5 houses in various stages of construction; there may be 2 or 3 lots left now, but some people will probably drop out of the process
- The Sanders found out about this last night, but have pretty much already decided to do it (although the scale may become more modest)
Evaluation
- Brandon ... couldn't sleep last night, so excited
- Ben ... happy for Brandon and I need the idea to sink in for a while before I decide I believe in it.
- Eric ... hopeful that my friend Brandon gets a space that I will be so excited to visit ... my family isn't going to move to Portland, but we are attracted to the concept
