- Brandon … Shelley is an amazing athlete; she came in 3rd overall out of 120+ women in her triathlon today. Also, I'm still sick.
- Ben … I’m trying to get over the disappointment of managing to get only 10 signatures across both of my petitions, 3.5 hours of effort.
- Eric … Michelle and I aren’t such amazing athletes, we had two dragon boat heats yesterday and our team came 7of8 and 8of8 in the two heats. I think more practice would have helped.

Midweek
- July 2 Work-Bee: 6:30 PM PST, 21:30 EST (Eric at cottage)
Weekend Service rotation: Eric, Shelley, Brandon, Ben
- July 4 Service: 9 AM PDT (Ben) (Eric at cottage)
- July 5 Business Call: 5:30 PM PDT, 20:30 EDT (Brandon may have an issue with Ren's birthday party, which nominally ends at 5 PM)
August event
- Brandon moves we rename it to the Shiny Green Festival, in case people find the "Tribal" concept offputting
- Ben wonders whether we should do flyers
- We have to decide 1 day vs. 3 days by July 8
- Brandon: we should probably keep the room for 3 days
- Ben: we have a fair amount of resources built up in my virtual account
- Brandon: we're planning to build up the amount we contribute again soon
- Eric: but if we're saving up for other big things, and this doesn't look like it's going to be a big event with a lot of attendees, maybe we shouldn't be spending that much
- Brandon: I agree, but I think there's still time to turn it into something we would want (with mostly local people)
- Eric: That would be cool, but you've been trying for a while and haven't come back with reports of people planning to come
- Brandon: Actually I haven't been trying very hard … I want to cast the net wider and see where we are by July 8
- If we have 20 people (including kids) who say they're coming, that will be a clear "go" for keeping the room for 3 days … meaning we need 14 other than us
- Ben: Feel free to assign me some tasks to help out
