Basement greenhouse with totally artificial lighting
Natural light in Canada in winter isn't sufficient anyway
Varying the lighting will be one of the first tests
Brandon: This could point toward a design goal of making it easy for apartment-dwellers to grow indoor gardens
Ben: I propose calling it a "Greenbox"

Funding proposal for $100 unanimously approved by the quorum present (Brandon, Ben, Eric)

Cooler? No, custom frabricated to fill the available space out of pink styrofoam

Oxygen/CO2? Vent for now ... measurement and control further down the road.

Sensors? I have a thermometer I can use to start with

3 confirmed signups
One of them appears to have opened the first orientation email
Currently we're spending about $35 per email address
Way more valuable than Facebook likes ... they trust us enough to type in their email, and we can send them messages that don't get put in a spam folder
At least as valuable as Meetup signups

Potential Next Optimizations:

(Brandon) Fix Google Analytics (get more usable experimental data)
Improve the appearance of the landing page (increase conversion of those who visit)
Revise the text of the landing page (increase conversion of those who visit)
Try a different AdWord campaign (achieve better fit for prospects, increase clicks/$)
Add a link from the wiki back to the join us page
