- Brandon: It's already "way beyond my threshold"
- Ben: interested in exploring the question of "what does it mean to get value out of it" ... do we just want to put this out for the sake of global ecological consciousness, or do we want to slap the solseed logo on it and attract members, or some of each?

- Brandon: We'll have SolSeed.org in the last shot of the video
- Ben: As a potential recruiting tool it is already quite impressive ... as a video that meets Brandon's original specifications it is not quite there
- Eric: could we divide the screen and show more than one timelapse at a time? (e.g. tides that are coming in and tides that are going out, 90 degrees apart on the Earth)

Values for the venue
- kid-friendly (safe, flexible, options for kids)
- community (shared meals, opening/closing circle)
- beautiful and inspiring (e.g., stirring natural setting)
- free (allows dance, singing, rockets ... you know ... spectacles!)
- accessible (easy to get to for those coming from elsewhere)
- apart (not something you just come to for an hour or two each day)
- not too uncomfortable (decent weather conditions, indoor sleeping accommodations for people for whom camping would be an issue)
- affordable (has to fit within the budgets of the convening organizations)
- neutral (the people who run the venue shouldn't be too ideological or religious, at least not in a way that clashes significantly with our values)

Second Liturgical Season
The season of Conflatorium (melting; tentative name) is the second liturgical season in the SolSeed Movement's Liturgical Calendar. It symbolises the emergence of complex life from Iceball Earth 590 million years ago. During this season the Weekly Service Calls may use the following draft Opening ceremony:
We gather to mark the passing of a week
To align our hearts as one.
(start with a bowl of ice cubes over the candle?)
Ice ... just ... ice ...
(take an ice cube from bowl)
and then ... [gasp] ... Melting
(Light the Sol candle)
(Put ice cube in a bowl over a flame that was lit earlier, or a cast iron frying pan or griddle that had been heated on a stove?)
Warm Sun! Open Water! Dry Land! Scented Breeze! a sea teaming with life ...
Under the frozen ice, new lifeforms were born.
And now they emerge to tell their story!
(Release fish from an underwater cage in an aquarium)
(Mime frozen, boxed in lifeform getting free and squirming around?)
(Break thin layer of ice on the surface of a bowl to get at a surprise 'plastic' animal underneath.)
This story begins with cells, connecting to sister cells,
the invention that grew the individual to any size!
(Participants clasp hands)
Next came the mouth, the first structure,
Both the feeder of animals,
and the singularity (imperative/discontinuity/focus?) that
gave animals direction.
(Eat some food)
Then came the senses!
The sensing which gave the first animals reason to swim.
The sensing which still directs us today!
(Light a match (or flash a mirror?), ring a bell, smell a flower, lightly touch our lips with our fingers? ... how about touching all five senses?)
Finally, Animals secreted calcium,
Armour, Shells, Teeth, Bones,
Massive, piling, surfaces folded through open water,
A billion allies emerged,
Life learned to make new reefs, new worlds,
(Shake the fossil shakers, building motions of one hand on top of another going up up up?)
Connected (Joined?) Cells. Mouths. Senses. Shells.
(mime it out? fists together, chomp with teeth, touch all five senses at once, not sure what to do for shells?)
From ice ... reefs!
Evaluation
- Ben ... Um so it was fun but I was kind of annoyed on finances Brandon said we had to stop and then we went way overtime on venues. Maybe I should have said, "We have to stop."
- Eric ... I got a list of ideas for how to make good meetings recently and I was going to share them with you, but I forgot ... one idea was to have times set on your agenda ahead of time
- Can also have roles assigned ... time-keeper ... parking attendant (put off-topic discussions in a "parking lot"
- Brandon ... I enjoyed this a lot and I am sorry Ben and agree with what you said and I look forward to working on it
