- Eric … I drove to Buckleberry yesterday to get that free trailer from Michelle's parents, and today I drove there with a bunch of lumber to build a carport over the trailer because otherwise it might be damaged by snow … I got to wander the property a bit and that really felt good
- Ben … I’m still getting closer to getting to be able to send out the shorter version of the story. But there are more details needed than I thought so it will be tomorrow or the next day.

- Build a SolSeed temple

- Build an astronomy tower on top of the Hill at Buckleberry with a planetarium in it.

- Build a big model of the Milky Way with many blue and yellow lights representing stars, and green lights that can be turned on to symbolize life spreading … maybe bring it to Burning Man

Science fiction (external audience)
- Finish and publish Flight in a Cage
- Try to publish some of our short stories in science fiction magazines

Sharing our ideas (external audience)
- Write a series of blog entries commenting on and critiquing the developing SpaceX plans to colonize Mars from a Humanistic Pagan / Earthseed perspective
- Re-start the The Book of Life project / Write our own version of The Millennial Project
- Promote the Concerning AI podcast more to reach a wider audience
- Start a Kickstarter to print more copies of Happy in the Sun and start creating new kid's books about Empathy and Wisdom
Research (external audience)
- Research the Simulation Hypothesis and possibly add simulism to our religion … write a paper explaining the objective evidence for it (if there is any) and how it could be falsified (or perhaps how the “we are not a simulation” hypothesis could be falsified).
- Do something related to the "reactionless" microwave thruster, e.g. an analysis of how much power it would take to move something big
- Publish an AI Paper
- Do some more simple CELSS experiments
What are we most interested in?
- Eric: The termite unfarm
- Ben: Probably making graphics, although in the short term I'm more likely to make a video of me talking about my vision
Discussion
- Ben: I'm nervous about talking about SolSeed with strangers … hoping to practice putting our ideas out there more.
- Eric: We've tried a lot of different ways to do that, e.g. Gaia's Heartbeat, The Seed, the stories we write, the little books we've published, but we don’t take them to fruition.
- Ben: Nobody knows we write stories outside of us.
- Eric: I made a link recently: I can't get in tune with Christianity because it's so focused on the idea that people are broken and need to be fixed/saved … I don't feel broken, and SolSeed is a religion for people who don't identify with that broken concept, and maybe that's part of our problem with recruiting.
Evaluation
- Ben: I want to have more meetings with the three of us. It’s hard to make progress when we are incomplete.
- Eric: I want to have more meetings with the fifteen of us. The 8 to 12 of us who never show up really annoy me.
Closing Blessing
We came together, just two, two members of a group which we aspire will grow. We keep focusing on the direction of our efforts and not the size, doing what is sustainably within our power rather than losing hope over our inability to shift the world on its axis. May our allies emerge. -- Blessed Be
