Very Long Photons

I have been worrying about the Big Rip again. Can't help it. I mean what's the point of striving for continuity of Life if a trillion years from now the universe just tears it all up and throws it all away. I know that there are all sorts of.philosophical reasons why there is a.point, not leaat pf which is that, in a trillion years, Life may find a way to either prevent or get around the Big Rip
