This [Sol 2009](/Sol_2009) session was convened for the purpose of figuring out where to go next with the [SolSeedCalls](/SolSeedCalls) and other smaller meetings between the large [OpenSpace](/OpenSpace) events.

#### Participants
- [Brandon CS Sanders](/Brandon_CS_Sanders)
- [Bonnie Sanders](/Bonnie_Sanders)
- [Brenna Waxter](/Brenna_Waxter)
- [Regula Frey](/Regula_Frey)
- [Ben Sibelman](/Ben_Sibelman)

#### Review of conference calls so far
- [Regula](/Regula): Opening words and checkin time = leaving regular life behind and connecting on a heart level before moving into projects (ideas from the humanist movement meetings)
- [Bonnie](/Bonnie): Provided continuity of group even though not everyone was present on every call
  - Helped get to know people at a deep level
  - [Brenna](/Brenna), [Regula](/Regula): Women especially need to connect at a heart level
  - But this ideal shouldn't come at the expense of having another purpose

#### Ideas for the future
- [Brenna](/Brenna): We could recruit people to build small local groups that meet in person
  - When one gets too big, have one person split off and start a new group?
  - [Regula](/Regula): Similar to the humanist movement in Africa
    - But should use the term "invite" rather than "recruit"
- Each person can try to form a local group and bring that experience back to the call
- **Specific ideas for call**
  - Just one topic per call
  - Move more practical stuff to a once-a-month business call
  - Do longer checkins after unconference to discuss how we experienced it
