[SolSeed](/SolSeed) < [SolSeed Emblem](/SolSeed_Emblem)
There is no official Emblem for SolSeed, but several have seen fairly wide use. With the most prevalent being some form the the sunrise rocket flower bud (it needs a better name) shown below. Read on for more of the history of where this came from.
### Current
This is an "earth as seed" emblem, with an explicit yin and yang, plus an obvious womb shape. Note also the three leaves ... for [Passion](/Passion), [Wisdom](/Wisdom), and [Empathy](/Empathy) and the rocket shaped flower. It also evokes the upward spiral. The yin-yang shape is also a giant S for SolSeed.
### Historical

- Two concepts for alternate emblems created by [Kevin](/User:Kevin):
 
- A concept by [Ben](/User:BenSibelman): [Our Name Is Our Logo](/Our_Name_Is_Our_Logo)
- Another emblem concept proposed by [Ben](/User:BenSibelman) (click the image for a description of the ideas that went into it). We used the simplified version as our "official" emblem for a few years.
 
- Yet another alternate emblem concept by [Ben](/User:BenSibelman) (really too complex to be an emblem, but still a nice symbolic graphic). The one above treats the Earth as a sprouting seed. This one reverses the metaphor and looks at spaceships, going out to plant and grow new living worlds, as the seeds.

- The balanced emblem created by Brandon as a revision of Ben's "earth as seed" emblem, with more explicit yin and yang, plus an obvious womb shape. Note also the three leaves ... for [Passion](/Passion), [Wisdom](/Wisdom), and [Empathy](/Empathy).
- The balanced emblem thickened up and entirely connected for 3D printing
