Metaphorium is a literary device used to inform the reader, with humour, that aspects of most [[Suspension of Skyfall|Gaia prayers]] are meant to be taken as metaphor and often the metaphors are not perfect and so questions about how the metaphor works may actually distract from the message of the story. So we call attention to these imperfections in order to allow the reader to process their questions and get back to the story and its message.
