How do we feel about Windward at this point?
* Brandon talked with Shelley about Windward, and she was acquiescent but not wild about the idea
* The people Brandon most wants to connect with there are Andrew and Lindsay
* Shawn is a bit apprehensive but in information-gathering mode … they're telling him this year wouldn't be great for an internship
* Ben’s feeling is that for the people that remain there, our presence could be a huge moral boost. Feels that way from exchanges with Walt … he is a scifi buff and would probably be really into the Foundation concept.
** Shawn didn't get that sense from emails about the internship
Other location options
* Tryon Life Community Farm again
** Ben has minor reservations but would be pretty much fine with it

* Shelley is nervous about the polyamorous nature of Star Community (and Windward) … Star House as a venue would be uncomfortable for the Sanders, although meeting Star people in a neutral venue should be okay
* Shawn is very open to talking with anyone regardless of how different they are … he'd be happy to talk with folks who hold very different social or political ideologies (e.g. white nationalists), but wouldn't want to visit a compound run by them

* Ben … I feel guilty for not capturing more of the free flowing discussion in the notes… looking forward to having us up there (for Equinox).
* Brandon … Shawn is getting a picture of the inside story rather than the official chronicles of the SolSeed Movement, the network view rather than the hierarchical view … I think that's valuable, and closer to the reality of what makes us go
* Shawn … I appreciate getting a deeper view into the relationships and different beliefs of everyone. I value openness and honesty and having that level of knowledge of each other is what builds trust and holds people together. More than just simple agreement on lofty ideas. Working through those deeper issues. Happy to be getting a deeper view into how everything works and the relationships and whatnot.
