** Better idea: Eric could have already brought the mannikin, cement mixer etc beforehand, so we could rent a Dodge Caravan-type vehicle to pick them all up * Do the painting at Buckleberry so they can participate * Michelle and Patrick could get their own VrtuCar to join us for Saturday * Go back to Auberge Saturday night, which will make it a shorter drive to the airport for Ben on Sunday morning Notes * Eric will get a small garage-in-a-box for bathroom facilities and storage * Weather could be anything from snow to 100-degree-F heat == SolSeed Creed == * Eric's ideas are around past, present, and future focus * Brandon wanted to add stuff about the pace of change; slowing down our own lives (an idea that appeals to Shelley among others) while facing the rapid change of the world. * Ben wrote something a while ago that talks about the huge cost and huge potential benefit of technological civilization * Ben: there should be a limit to the number of different values we focus on in the Creed. It should not get too long. ** Ideally everything should be built out from a center, [[Life is Precious]] ** Eric: We could work that into the mindfulness pledge * Eric: I want more pledges and less description ** Ben: My ideas could lead to pledges of activism? == Evaluation == * Eric … I'm really excited about you guys coming … reworking the Creed feels like it's a bigger job than I envisioned, but it's worth doing … I'm grateful that this practice of having meetings about things that matter is still ongoing * Ben … I feel a little nervous about all the logistics for the equinox ... and I am just remembering that I wanted to offer some feedback about Eric’s unboxing video ... and I am just generally feeling scattered. == Eric's videos == * Ben thinks they should be shorter * Fewer um's would be good ** Eric: I didn't take much time to prepare well for the first video * Put the theme song before the talking-head intro? ** Or start with a short hook, then the theme song, then a longer intro == Closing Blessing == Life within Gaia is endlessly complex, and as limited beings we can be overwhelmed by the complexity.
