You haven’t sent any. And I’m not sure you’re even watching the ones that I’ve sent.” ** Eric: I watched the ones in previous weeks but this week has been crazy and I haven’t watched any. ** Brandon: Do you have a recommendation? Is this a place we want to be going. If it isn’t we can cut it. If it is we need to motivate the elephant, ___ the rider, and/or tweak the path to make it work for our elephants * Three daily practices: ** Meditation *** Why? **** Brandon: Connectedness to values and to each other. *** Problems **** Brandon's path is to do it on the bus, but he worked from home every day this week except for a day when Eric had a meeting … it's mostly working ** 15 minutes on projects *** Why? **** Brandon: strongly aspiring to be diligent in working on SolSeed every day *** Solutions **** Eric: Each have a different path based on when we do it **** Brandon: If I go to bed on time and get up before the kids do, I have time to do the work in the morning ** 1 minute videos *** Why? **** Eric: Pat ourselves on the back for doing the work, get recognition from each other **** Ben: Stay in touch with each other more regularly despite the fact that we're working on these different individual projects *** Problems **** Brandon isn't doing this because he isn't doing the projects **** Eric’s path for the videos comes at the end of the 15 minutes of work, so if he misses the 15 minutes of work he misses the video … or if he overdoes the work (maybe 90 minutes) then he has to dart away to the next thing before he can do the video **** Ben is like Brandon in that if he doesn’t do any work on his story he doesn't feel like posting a video (and late at night as well). *** Solutions **** Eric: Create space around/during the meditation calls for this **** Eric: Remind ourselves that we should feel welcomed to do the video even if we haven't done the 15 minutes on projects that day **** Brandon: We could watch and record the videos at the start of our 15 minutes, to organize our thoughts about what we're going to work on … it's a momentum-builder == Newsletter == https://docs.google.com/document/d/1TRB4tnFWaTrWinsJTC_ICeI_zGwI-hqd6LSHMt07mhQ/edit?ts=587ad6d1 == Summer (including Eclipse August 21) == * Eclipse ** It passes through South Carolina, which is close to Florida where some SpaceX rocket launches happen *** There's also an interesting pagan group in one of the Carolinas called the Church of the Earth *** If it was possible to watch the eclipse and a rocket launch in one trip ** The Sanders are doing their Big Lake trip from August 16-20 *** They also only want to do one big cross-country trip this year, preferably in September around the Fall Equinox, although June would also work (except the bugs are bad then) == Imbolc/Riverain/RockSolidFrozenRiver == * Rico indicated that the hike would be too much, Brandon will invite them to just meet us at the Mexican restaurant (maybe we can pick one that is close to them?) * If they decline, we can start looking more seriously at the Seattle option == Evaluation == * Eric … What a wonderful way to start off Sunday.
