This is a music video [[Ben]] is working on, using [[The Seed]] song. == Draft visuals == * Intro ** From the Living Worlds Productions logo, pan downward to follow an arm of the galaxy (like on the front page of the wiki) ** Limb of Earth comes into view, on the night side, with the eastern edge at the top * Personal verse ** Pan down through a cloud layer to a gloomy-looking city ** Some kind of transition to a cubicle farm inside a skyscraper, with a generic office drone guy in a cubicle working on spreadsheets and stuff *** Spreadsheets reflected in the guy's eye *** Some exciting transition starting in the guy's chest area ** The guy standing in an abstract brown space, with his feet forming roots connecting to parents, grandparents, etc *** Zooming out, this family tree forms a brown stick-figure person with uplifted arms, which stands on a branch of a much larger Tree of Life with other animals in it **** Can we get Molly Brown to help with this? *** Pan up from the tree to see a bird rising, then morphing into a spaceship as the sky fades to starry space ** Transition to the SolSeed logo, then replace the sigil with a subtitle, "Reach for the Stars" * Chorus ** Cutaway showing a seed underground ** Zoom out and pan up to the surface, with forest and mountains in the background and the sun shining above *** Fade to the [[BatchOfNine|9 paintings]] ** Pan back down to show roots growing down and outward from the seed *** Fade to a screen and keyboard with hands on it; the screen shows a blank document into which is typed something like "Life Goals" or "My Dreams" ** Pan up to follow the seed sprout as it runs into rocks and works its way around them *** Fade to a steering wheel with hands on it and a road at night, with 3 billboards reading "Work Late," "Veg Out" (with a TV) and "Waste Your Life!" ** Follow the sprout as it finally emerges into the sunlight * Community and ecology verse ** Transition "back to the present," possibly by zooming out from the generic guy's eye ** The Sanders house ** People sitting around a fire ** People dancing around a fire, holding hands, perhaps with others playing instruments nearby ** People hiking up a steep trail, possibly holding hands ** A footprint in the trail morphs into a huge strip mine ** Brief images of huge solar and wind farms ** Brief images of forest fires, floods, desiccated land ** A graphic representing the global economy *** Zoom out to show it as just a small part of the Tree of Life, with some animation to show humanity "reconnecting" *** Maybe show a vertical scale of eons ** An eco-village with many solar roofs, overlaid with a graph of falling solar-panel prices ** A yin-yang island with farms filling one half, a greenery-covered mountain forming the dot in that half, and the other half being a forest with an ecotopian city forming the dot * Chorus ** Cutaway showing a seed underground with roots and a sprout ** Pan up to the surface, with a flower growing from the sprout, forest and mountains in the background and the sun shining above ** Pan back down to show roots growing down and outward from the seed, intertwining with other roots growing from other seeds ** Pan up and to the right, with roots at the bottom of the frame and a growing city filling the rest *** We pass an industrial plant whose smoke blots out the sky as it expands to the right **** Possibly turn it into stormclouds with lightning bolts *** We come to a shoreline with buildings standing in the water beyond, their upper stories burning ** Meanwhile, the seeds have been forming increasingly large sprouts above the ground, and some braided vines suddenly leap out from the shore to form a bridge across the ocean *** As we follow the bridge and leave the burning city behind, the smoke/stormclouds clear and the sun comes out again *** We reach another shore where the vine dives into the ground and an ecotopian city grows from it * Space verse ** Various types of seed ship (e.g. maple seed with solar panels forming the wing, bird-shaped ship with a dome on its back) ** A hollowed-out asteroid filling with life ** More seed ships flying outward from Earth, trailing stylized vines like engine exhaust *** A ship descends to Mars, shrinking out of sight but with the vine remaining in view *** Mars becomes terraformed and possibly grows stylized flower petals around it (becoming a flower on the vine) ** Alien seed ships of various sizes and colors (e.g. turquoise water-filled ship, red-orange ship of gas-giant floaters) fly in from afar, trailing vines of matching colors *** Joined by ships from Earth, they spread out again to journey to various other stars * Chorus ** Several seeds underground; pan up to follow their sprouts into the ecotopian city on the surface ** Maybe zoom out to show Earth as a pale blue dot ** Bird-seed-ship crossing the gap between Sol and another star ** Many-colored vines growing out across the galaxy, turning stars into flowers
