1/11/08 I drove to Cooper Spur and it seems too far. My folks stayed there once and it is very remote -- no bars or restaurants and >40 min past Gov't Camp in snow. Loved Falcon Crest. Maybe that plus Little Trail? Collins would be OK but it's at SkiBowl and looks expensive and has no food. Little Trail Lodge is likely most affordable -- but we'd need to convince them to let us stay just one night and also pay for a caterer!
