* There's a band in Eugene, Oregon (formerly Medford) that independently came up with the name [http://www.myspace.com/themicsarefunky Sol Seed]. Their music is great, and they have some surprisingly evocative lyrics like "...to create a destiny psycho-synergistically with Gaia and the galaxy..."
* [[Shawn's space story|Shawn Kilburn]] of Seattle is working on a wonderfully whimsical space adventure story.
