We are very strongly pro-science as the best means of distilling and communicating truth. That said, we recognize that many of the most important things in life are not locatable in the outer physical world. In addition to the outer physical world there is also the interior world of mind. The physical brain gives rise to the non-physical mind. The neural correlates of thought (e.g., synapses firing) can be objectively measured, while the just as real subjective experience of beauty cannot.
