Co-Convener Invitation
You are receiving this invitation because someone thinks

We are Kindred and we are called to Thrive! Like individual cells working in the pattern of a human body, we work within the pattern of The Body of All Life.

We are coming together for a festival of sharing. As we share, we will experience other people's enthusiasm and become re-energized ourselves. As we share, we will weave together the threads of wisdom that each individual and each organization brings.

We have to get joy out of meeting our basic needs, other groups have communities which are doing that. We need to have a sense of purpose and direction that comes with acting in a group larger than ourselves, to archive goals that are larger than ourselves. And I would say that lastly humans (in order to survive, as well as thrive) need love and community; because no man is an island, and we cannot do it alone.

that The Body of All Life might also thrive.

Let's share how we each and we all are helping The Body of All Life thrive. Share ideas, make connections, and inspire each other about what is possible at Kindred2010 ... a festival celebrating life!

I really liked your description of the meeting of the tribes and the sentiment about wanting to see your boy find his tribe. The idea of organizational and communal cross-pollination is wonderful!

Here is my two cents about the "shared vision". I think that it is very broad, and that each group is working toward it in some way. In short I would call it Thriving. Humans and the rest of life, surviving and thriving. People thrive in a variety of ways. We all need to take care of our bodies in order to survive, and some of the groups are focusing more on the material side of life.

It is for thesese resonse outlined above that I am "juiced" about Kindred2010. Let me know your response to these remarks.
