Things that went well

Ben thought everyone seemed to have a pretty good time
Brandon and Shelley liked the way Eric put together the service, it felt really positive
Shelley liked how Ben's parents stayed to help finish the biospheres
Shelley loved the feeling of having everyone over at our house, like a village event
Shelley's photos turned out great
Sequoia wanted to ride the Ferris wheel at Oaks Park, but then really enjoyed pipetting water in the swamp
Brandon liked building the CELSS
Ren liked being held by Ben's mom

Things that we could improve

Shelley: Plan to eat supper before assembling the biospheres; order the pizza slightly sooner
Ben: Learn more about collecting small creatures from swamps
Shelley: It would be nice if more of the shrimp survive (maybe it's the pH)

On the one hand, our level of enthusiasm this past quarter was very low
On the other hand, this is very much an in-progress project, which makes us reluctant to put it on hold

Ben ... We got stuff done but weren't collaborating, and that's unfortunate ... I was trying to shepherd us through the usual process and it wasn't working
Shelley ... I agree, but I don't know how to balance that ... I can't concentrate if I'm working together
Brandon ... I just worked on things and it felt good ... I'm tired of just talking about things
