Brandon ... We have just had a fun birthday

Eric ... I just made my costume for the call of the cosmos party ... and that was fun ... I'm going to be the upward spiral ... I cut down some grape vines earlier this year, they wrap around from my legs all the way up to my shoulders ... more and more as they go up ... evergreen with dice ... upward spiral of ever growing possibilities
Ben ... Eric, don't forget to have pictures taken ... I'm feeling better at the moment, possibly because I went to urgent care yesterday and got a script for anti-nausea medicine

Main point: People will see our posts on the timelines of everyone who has Liked us

Shelley: I like the idea of leaving some things opaque so the listener will think about it more
Verse 2:
Brandon: Consider "kin" instead of "tribe"
Eric: Could use dancing as a metaphor in verse 2, connecting to tribal imagery
Also, hunt them and gather them together? (could sound too primitivist)
Brandon: Consider getting rid of some words?
Shelley: Make sure to tell John and Will that we're open to them modifying the lyrics to make it work better with rhythm, melody etc
Brandon: Also, ask them to make it simple enough to be easily singable
Release event?
Find out if we'll have rights to do things like share the audio to our Facebook fans

Friday, December 21st
Rocket launching
Eric will use kits from Estes (3-stage firework engine sold separately)
Rockets are reusable: third stage releases a parachute
Brandon recommends homemade Puck Rockets (demo'd at this year's Portland Mini Maker Faire)
They don't even have parachutes; they're so light that they come down slowly anyway
How many rockets?
Eric will get about 20
Brandon is thinking 20-30
Eric found that launching rockets at night isn't that cool, but it might depend on how much city light there is
Launch between 4 and 5 PM, so people don't have to leave work too early?
Just do it on Saturday?
Shelley wants to do a big sit-down dinner
How to include the service?
Probably just us, as usual
Invite (fairly) widely just for the rocket launching

Shelley ... I really like the song that Ben wrote
Brandon ... ditto and I'm really excited about getting to 1000 Facebook likes
Ben ... I'm really glad that people like what I write
Eric ... I'm excited about having a song so that we actually ... there is something I like about gospel churches and I think it would be great to have some actual singing in our service
