Kindred 2010
Brandon and Shelley have looked at the Windward campground location
They have 30 years of experiments with living on the land, reuse of materials, etc
Campground is not an ideal location
Unpaved road
Port-a-potties
No particularly scenic natural setting
Fee is $4/person/day, but not a whole lot cheaper overall than other campgrounds
We could have a 1-day Open Space in Portland as a run-up to a Longest Day Party
Or just make it a really great outdoor party, while still inviting kindred groups (space enthusiasts, intentional communities, environmentalists)
Meanwhile, get more co-conveners to take on logistics, maybe for a September timeframe for Kindred 2010
That way we don't have to decide on a location right now
