- Ben: Can we join without actually believing that God is Change? (I guess I'll have to ask John)

- Brandon: What should our relationship with this be?
- Ben: I think it depends on what the tradition turns out to be … so far it's an obscure website (http://godischange.org) and a few posts on Humanistic Paganism
- Brandon: Of all the things out there to be a part of, this one is the closest
- Ben: Other than maybe the Living Universe Foundation if it started up again?
- Brandon: With two things competing for mindshare, it can be easy to get upset and focus on the differences … I want to nurture a feeling of being excited about the possibility that John's Earthseed tradition will take off … and I want you to support me and hold me to this declaration “I want to support this fledgling Earthseed with all I’ve got”
- Eric: I agree that we should support it … what matters is not the name or the brand, it's the movement … we shouldn't shut down SolSeed today, but with the popularity of his site, there's a potential for John to really go somewhere with this, so we should be on board with that, and I think yeah, we should just join it, for the same reason that I didn’t hesitate to roll biospheric communionism into SolSeed.
- Ben: I’d say there is no downside to declaring ourselves members whether or not it goes somewhere … and I hope that doing so means we get to help shape it

Games
- Don’t Break the Ice
- Insecta with the Trilobite expansion (2-8 players)
- Evolution (2-6 players, could work for almost any of our seasonal celebrations)
Seed Village
- Brandon: Ben, how do you feel about this?
- Ben: I'm hesitant because moving is really hard … I don't feel great about moving just to start an "ecovillage" that's just one family and one bachelor … I’d be happy to support you making a decision to create something bigger that I would then be happy to join
Strategic Thoughts
- Ben … I’m wondering if we should have an exercise to brainstorm tasks that we think are important but that we don’t yet know how to motivate ourselves to do (e.g., keeping track of our SolSeed finances every month) … and then thinking about ways to remedy that situation.
- Brandon … I have been thinking about actually trying to create an organization (legal entity) but the process has forced me to confront the branding aspect of it a little. So I am interested in thinking about our branding.
- Eric … I want to explore methods of digesting cellulose and growing food from digested cellulose.
Evaluation
- Ben … these are potentially exciting times, both for SolSeed and for American politics. I’m just not sure in either case how excited to get yet.
- Eric … I am grateful for Elon and I am grateful for John Halstead, but most of all I am grateful for you two.
