• Shelley ... went to Goodwill and got some beautiful new clothes ... off this week will use time to submit paper to CHEST ... Brandon is not in Cartegena
• Brandon ... not in Cartagena ... feeling like I'm starting to dig out of the "avalanche" ... got some work done on the Seed Village this weekend
• Ben ... feeling okay ... lazy weekend ... some SolSeed homework ... also just spent some time having fun with new Kinect system and LARPing
• Sequoia ... took six steps today! ... also stacked 3 blocks on top of each other ... had a pretty good day ... on the other hand, he did split his eyebrow ... was blessed by a wizard at the Winter Festival at his school

Longest Night Festival

• Shelley has been reading Fires of Yule to learn how to best celebrate the Solstice
• Most of the food preparation should be done before the day of the Solstice
• Some preparation to do at breakfast
• Can Ben make it down for that?
• Art and Mickki will be there already
• Shelley and Brandon worked on the ritual

The music festival

• Starts at 11 AM on January 15th, potluck at noon
• Brandon likes the idea of inviting the neighbors
• Also people from Sequoia's school?
• Shelley will ask Lori for a mixture of adult- and child-focused songs
• Written program
• A little about SolSeed
• Mostly about Lori
• Give away some CDs?
• Have a bunch of candles lit around the room, but not a service

Seed 2011

• This will be February 5-7 unless the lodge is taken ... currently trying to reserve it
• We need to send invitations
• Shelley: I want participants to leave with an action item and a commitment. I promise to have people to my house once a month for the next year for soup

• People are already starting to make edits to the SpaceWiki site

• Start leaderboard for SEDs contest

• First copy of the book is on its way
• Missing two pages
• Probably needs higher-resolution images

Consensus polls

• 2 so far: Church vs. Nonprofit, Business
• Define who is a Contributing Member vs. a "Member by Declaration" ... perhaps start tracking contributions?
• Could use this to push people toward either being just a Friend or a Contributing Member
• Survey current SolSeedMembers list about whether what we're doing is worthy of their contributions (time or money)?
