- Keith ... No longer freezing in Houston. (never was technically freezing but for a southerner it was cold!)
- Brandon ... Had a lovely Thanksgiving with family

- Chad said "It is a CAPITAL idea" but LUF doesn't have enough capital/money to support it
- A person on Facebook asked who we could invite, and Eric (not our Eric) came up with the following: "Space Renaissance Initiative, Leeward Space Foundation, Mars Society, Lifeboat Foundation, L5, Planetary Society, Seasteading Institute, H+, Open Hardware/Maker movement, Open Space Technology movement, Open Source Ecology, Venus Project."

Further Updates from LUF
- Keith Spangle (original artist of plates for The Millenial Project: How to settle the galaxy in eight easy steps) ... we commissioned him to do a new picture of a rocket launch from the ocean
- We have a draft but want to make the flip ship prettier
- Brandon likes the flip ship in the draft
- LUF is currently registered with Colorado, but doesn't have a member there; we need to pay $120/year for an agent, and it looks like we're going to stop doing that
- We do have one member who might pull together an effort to keep it
- Why Colorado? They've already accepted our bylaws and articles of incorporation ... we initially chose it because it was Marshall Savage's home state
- There's no clear tangible benefit since we don't need to be a corporation to run a website, and we currently don't have tax-exempt status
- We could form an association rather than a corporation if we want to re-establish tax-exempt status

- John and Will have done one session for the song, but don't have anything ready to listen to yet
- Brandon is considering hiring Barak to do a timelapse of Tillamook Bay's tides ($100-200)
- Ben will contact Gus to see if he'd like to contribute a timelapse or two
Solstice
- Abigail wanted to know how much of the music is just going to be Christmas songs.
- Brandon: Currently there are none, but we are considering moving it more that direction because people know those songs
- Abigail's preference is not to be just a Christmas sing-a-long

Kindred 20XX
- Brandon wants to post about a Kindred event to the SolSeed Facebook page, similar to Keith's post on the LUF page (http://www.facebook.com/groups/livinguniverse/)

- Brandon would also like to put together some scholarships for people to attend
- Keith: Chad's point was that setting the event up would cost to much
- Brandon imagines a 30-to-50-person event to start with ... we've done events that size already
- Need at least 3 groups with deep buy-in and at least 4 representatives each
- Keith: What about big-name speakers? ... First Millennial Foundation once got a U.S. House member who was elected on a space platform
- Brandon: We'd use the Open Space model rather than formal talks
- The cost to attend is a different important issue (might cost $1500 all told to attend) ... most LUF members couldn't afford it
- Brandon expects the SolSeed Movement's costs to be around $5000 for the first event, with scholarships on top of that
Evaluation
- Keith ... the call was good, but the Skype service needs work ... we could maybe try Google+ Hangouts
- Brandon ... I enjoy working on this stuff and making a little progress each time ... the technology is beyond frustrating
- Ben ... I remember a time when live streaming video was basically impossible ... and that was not that long ago ... I'm appreciative that it works at all
- Eric ... I love the fact that there are four of us on the call again ... welcome Keith
