- Ben ... I just got back from attending most of a four hour rally led by Native Americans in solidarity with a civil disobedience encampment in North Dakota against an oil pipeline, and I have so many thoughts about it that we probably shouldn’t get into because there is not enough time.
- Eric … I hurt my back yesterday working on that loft, not badly, just enough that it's kind of painful to continue working on it … but I got back to it this evening and it's very close to done … 120 square feet of plywood laid, 20 to go

- Ben … I am not sure what to do with all of the thoughts I wrote down, but it felt important to write them down.
