Solstice
Purpose
- Eric - Come together as core members, keep and start something rolling, get it to snowball
- Shelley - build community and to feel like we do things, and to build tradition
- Ben - because it's the summer solstice ... therefore a good time for gatherings that reflect the brightness of the season and the energy comes with that
- Eric - I like build tradition part, religions have specific things they do at specific times of year, creating the tradition
- Brandon - What you do, you get more of, and what you invest in, you invest more in, and who you spend time with, you spend more time with, etc ... it's about creating our lives to have SolSeed as part of them
- Shelley - to build meaning, create meaning, create a shared identity for our group, to celebrate, warm time of year, joy
- Ben - every time we've had an unconference event we've started a new practice, using the energy to move forward to the next stage of the SolSeed Movement

- Brandon - Communicating our Shiny Green Vision for Life: Rent a great camera rig and take video interviews of us discussing our vision for SolSeed with the natural beauty of the Oregon Coast as our backdrop. Focus on getting high quality audio with the videos that we can use as material for our 12 video orientation series.
- Shelley - The video idea is very pragmatic, which is appealing to me ... How to make it a special event? Saturday service ... fits into Eric's theme
- Ben - How to fit this in with the longest-day-shortest-night theme? What to do on Thursday to celebrate the Solstice?
