Check In

  • Brandon … I am sprinting on interviews and open ended code challenges
  • Ben … I just now started having annoying chest-wall pain, making it difficult to breath in deeply, but I’m really looking forward to the climate communication class I’m doing tomorrow morning and then the Portland trip, which will include Shabbat dinner

Opening Blessing

When we gather, we become more than just the sum of the parts. May our becoming bring encouragement, creativity, and strength. -- Blessed Be

Logistics for Sunday

  • Ben will get a ride with parents or on bus/MAX
  • Shelley's triathlon: will finish around 10 AM
  • Pack up, go home for a shower
  • Shelley's triathlon award ceremony: 11:45 AM
  • Industrial Cafe: starting between noon and 1 PM
  • Bringing Shelley and Ren back home for a nap? (Ben might not fit in the car)
  • Pagan Pride Day: http://www.owow.org/ … Ben, Sequoia, and Brandon will go to that
    • Includes Harvest Ritual: 4 PM
  • Starting fire with bows?
  • Games at Seed Village: starting at around 5:30pm

Evaluation

  • Ben … I got two of my things done, but I guess I’ll have time on the bus tomorrow to work on other things, and I’m really looking forward to Sunday
  • Brandon … yay Sunday!

Closing Blessing

We live our lives not in the world itself, but inside the stories we tell ourselves about it. May we seek to tell true stories and good stories that lead in the directions of our highest aspirations. May we continue the work. -- Blessed Be
